Bugia - 1977
Lamp for WallDesign by Roberto Beretta | Antonio Macchi Cassia
Simple and brilliant
The shape of this collection of lamps recalls and pays homage to the old candle holders with handles, commonly called “bugia” in Italian, the simplified name of the African city Bidgiaya which supplied most of the wax used to make candles! This curious anecdote
today also accompanies the “modern” Bugia: a table or wall lamp in the single or double light versions, as simple as it is ingenious.
