The formal inspiration for this floor lamp comes from the idea of the nest as a primordial place that welcomes and generates life; in this case, life is represented by the light source, housed inside a shell that protects and directs it. In this way, the function of the lamp can be freely varied: it becomes a reading light when the beam is directed, or perfect for ambient illumination when the light is indirect.
